About VectorCraft Online
A free browser workspace for vector illustration, independently hosting the open-source VectorCraft editor.
Last updated: 2026-10-15
A place to start drawing
VectorCraft Online makes it easy to open a canvas and work with vector graphics in your browser. Start with paths, shapes and editable text, refine an illustration or lay out a poster, then save the result to your device. The hosted editor is free, with no account, subscription or paid export tier.
Our aim is to make the editor easy to try, explain its tools through practical guides, and help people find its source, documentation and desktop releases.
What you can do here
- Draw and edit paths, Bézier curves, shapes and text across artboards.
- Work with fills, strokes and the editor's appearance tools.
- Open and save native .vectorcraft projects, and exchange SVG and PDF files.
- Export images such as PNG, JPEG and WebP to your device.
- Read the notebook for workflows and file-format guidance.
The editor is alpha software. Features and file compatibility vary, and PDF-compatible .ai exchange does not preserve all Illustrator-specific data. Try complex documents with a copy and keep your editable originals.
Built on an open-source project
VectorCraft is created by the ArtCraft team and open-source contributors. This website independently hosts a browser build and provides its own website content. It is not the official ArtCraft website and is not affiliated with Adobe.
The editor is available under MIT or Apache-2.0. Credits and separate licenses for fonts, components and example artwork remain with their respective authors. Explore the upstream source, documentation and official desktop releases, or read the bundled notices.
Is there a desktop alternative?
Yes. This website hosts the browser build; the official VectorCraft releases offer native apps for macOS, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD. Choose a package matching your operating system and processor. The upstream maintainers publish and support those desktop builds.
Your files stay in your workflow
Editing happens in your browser. The current workflow does not upload your documents to our servers or save them to a cloud account. Browser recovery storage is a convenience; save your work to your device and keep backups. Our Privacy Policy explains local storage and website data, and the Terms of Service explain usage and software rights.
Who writes the notebook?
Articles signed VectorCraft Online are published by this independent website, not by the upstream ArtCraft team. Our tutorials identify the editor version, test environment and downloadable example where applicable. Comparisons distinguish steps checked here from statements taken from official documentation.
Screenshots and sample files illustrate the stated workflow; they do not establish compatibility with every document. When an article changes materially, its update date records that revision. To report an error, use the website contact below and include the article URL, editor version and steps needed to reproduce the issue. Do not send confidential artwork.
