Terms of Service
Terms for using VectorCraft Online, including your artwork, open-source licenses and service limitations.
Last updated: 2026-10-15
Using this website
These terms govern your use of VectorCraft Online, an independently operated website hosting the VectorCraft browser editor. “We” refers to this website's operator. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms or use the service with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.
The service
The public editor is currently free to use. It requires no account or subscription, and we do not charge for saving or exporting files or add a website watermark to your exports. The website also provides tutorials and links to the upstream project's resources and desktop releases.
The hosted editor runs in your browser. This workflow does not provide cloud document storage, synchronization or a backup service. If paid services are introduced in the future, their prices and terms will be shown before purchase; using the current editor does not authorize a future charge.
Your work and responsibilities
You retain the rights you hold in your original artwork. Using the editor does not transfer ownership of your files to us or grant us permission to publish them or use them to train AI models.
You are responsible for permission to use imported images, fonts, documents and other material. Third-party assets, bundled examples and fonts keep their own licenses. You may use your own work commercially, subject to the rights and licenses of any material it contains.
Save editable originals and keep independent backups. Check exports before publication, printing or delivery. Browser recovery data can be lost, and conversions may change appearance or omit features from the source format.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- Violate applicable law or another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Distribute malware, exploit vulnerabilities or access systems and data without authorization.
- Disrupt the website or overload it with abusive automated traffic.
- Impersonate the website operator or upstream contributors, or misrepresent their endorsement of your work.
These website rules do not restrict rights granted under the editor's open-source licenses.
Open-source software and attribution
VectorCraft is developed by the ArtCraft team and contributors. Its editor code is available under your choice of the MIT license or Apache License 2.0. Those licenses govern the software rights they grant and are not replaced by these website terms.
Components, fonts and example artwork may have separate terms. See the upstream notices and asset attributions. The editor's licenses do not automatically apply to this website's text, branding or other material, and do not grant third-party trademark rights.
This website independently hosts the editor. It is not the official ArtCraft website and is not affiliated with Adobe.
Availability and limitations
VectorCraft is alpha software under active development. Features and compatibility can change. PDF-compatible .ai exchange does not preserve all Illustrator-specific editing data. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every file or recovery of unsaved work.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and restricted access
We may update the hosted build, modify features or suspend access for maintenance, security, abuse prevention or legal reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice of material changes. Changes to these terms will be dated on this page, with additional notice where required. If you do not accept updated terms, stop using the website; your open-source software rights remain governed by the relevant licenses.
Privacy and contact
Read our Privacy Policy for details about local files, browser storage and website data. Learn about the project on our About page.
